Grooming Long-Haired Dogs
Long-haired dogs usually
require daily grooming, especially if they are prone to tangles. Once again, use
the slicker, the bristle, and then the flea comb. Be extra careful using the
slicker brush on dogs without an undercoat to protect them. If tangles are a
problem and cannot be removed using a slicker brush, carefully trim them out.
Also, carefully trim around the feet and ears. It is best to leave all trimming
for a professional groomer.
